We hold over 40,000 items in our collections which includes documents which make up our archive, and objects which are classed as artefacts.  As part of our remit to preserve local history, we are still looking to add to our collections, so if you are thinking of disposing of items of local historical interest, please offer them to us first by contacting us through this website. We are currently in the process of digitising our collections, which is a long but fascinating project. We will be looking to recruit volunteers to join our digitising team in the coming months, with training given.
